St. Luke’s facility replacement project gets green light from the McCall City Council

St. Luke’s McCall’s facility replacement project received final approval at the Feb. 28 McCall City Council meeting.

Council members unanimously approved the unit development final plan, subdivision final plat, development agreement, snow management agreement and storm water shared-maintenance agreement.

The initial design was first reviewed and approved by the McCall Planning and Zoning commissioners on Feb. 5. Changes include rerouting Hewitt Street to make room for a new two-story structure and the installation of an updated water retention basin.

Next steps for the project are to record the plan for the mapped area and obtain building permits so work can begin this spring. Phase I construction will start with the completion of site work that began last summer.

"Once site work is completed, construction on the building will begin to the north of the existing hospital.

The goal is to complete the shell of the structure to allow for interior work to take place next winter.

A ground-breaking celebration is tentatively schedule for May. Look for the latest information online.
