Cory S. Bates, MD specializes in providing a wide range of urologic care to male and female patients of all ages.
Stephen A. Brassell, MD, FACS is a urologic oncologist with expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery and the management of complex urologic cancers.
During his Army career, Dr. Brassell completed an internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, followed by two years as battalion surgeon with the 10th Special Forces Group. While at Walter Reed he also served as a urologic oncologist, and was appointed the Associate Director of the Center for Prostate Disease Research, a multi-institutional national prostate cancer program, and Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
His military courses include airborne, flight surgery, dive medical, and cold weather/mountain warfare training. He has received a Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal among other awards. Dr. Brassell chaired over 30 research studies and has published and presented over 70 articles in the urologic literature with a focus on urologic cancer.
Cathryn "Kate" Erickson, DO, RD is compassionate and sincere, and enjoys empowering her patients to better health. She believes in reaching out to underserved populations and building communities through both clinical and non-clinical means.
Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Erickson earned her bachelor's degree in dietetics from Idaho State University. She worked as a professional dietitian and still maintains her status as a registered dietitian. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
Scott G. Erpelding, MD treats all aspects of adult urology, and has a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of men's health issues, including erectile dysfunction, BPH (enlarged prostate), and reconstructive urology. He has additional training in penile implants and artificial urinary sphincters.
He is skilled in da Vinci® robotic surgery for BPH, urologic malignancies, and reconstructive urology, and uses both percutaneous and ureteroscopic approaches for the management of kidney stones.
Robert Jackson, MD has special interest in the treatment of male infertility and men’s health issues such as erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and hypogonadism. He has advanced training in the surgical management of erectile dysfunction and microsurgical techniques for varicocele repair and vasectomy reversal. He also treats a full spectrum of general urologic conditions, including voiding dysfunction, nephrolithiasis, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dr. Jackson uses minimally invasive treatments like Rezum™ and the UroLift® System to treat BPH as an alternative to drugs or more invasive therapies.
Dr. Jackson earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and is a member of the American Urologic Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
Robert C. Jensen, Au.D. specializes in comprehensive hearing evaluation, dizzy and balance disorder evaluation, and digital hearing aid fitting and programming for all ages. He has a passion for helping his patients overcome the difficulties that a hearing loss or balance disorder may be causing in their lives. He enjoys learning about new hearing aid technology and figuring out how it can work best for his patients' needs. He also enjoys assisting the physicians he works with in the diagnosis and treatment of ear disorders.
Dr. Jensen received both his bachelor's degree in anthropology and his doctorate of audiology from the University of Utah. While completing his doctorate, he had the privilege of working in a variety of environments, giving him a wide range of experience in audiology.
Frederick Klein, MD specializes in wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He served as a board certified emergency medicine physician prior to moving to wound care with St. Luke’s. Dr. Klein’s genuine concern for the well being of his patients is a hallmark of his service, and he takes time to educate his patients as well as treat them.
In his free time, Dr. Klein dabbles with foreign languages, enjoys playing racquetball and volleyball, and appreciates opportunities to travel.
Mary C. Konneker, Au.D. CCC-A specializes in evoked potentials, diagnostics, and amplification for pediatrics. She enjoys working with children of all ages, and helping them reach their full potential and more.
Dr. Konneker received both her bachelor's degree in speech language pathology and her doctor of audiology from Illinois State University. While completing her doctorate, she obtained an additional certification as a listening and spoken language professional, working on aural (re)habilitation with the birth to age 3 population.
Russell Mayes, DO, FAO-CO is board certified in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery. He treats both children and adults for many disorders involving the ears, nose, and throat (ENT). His main areas of focus include sinus and allergy disorders, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and head and neck cancer. He also sees patients with problems involving the tonsils, ear infections, hoarseness, and hearing loss.
Skylar M. McSorley, AuD, CCC-A has professional interests in vestibular diagnostics and rehabilitation, auditory implant technology, evoked potentials, central auditory processing, and medical audiology. She enjoys working with patients and their families to improve their communication abilities and quality of life.
Skylar earned her bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing science at the University of Iowa and her doctorate of audiology at the University of Memphis. She completed her doctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She has research experience in multiple areas including hearing aid outcome measures, listening effort, and speech perception testing for Spanish speakers.
Joseph Rosenblum, DO, FACC, FACP is a specialist in cardiovascular medicine. His mentors were the first physicians to perform angioplasty in the United States. Dr. Rosenblum has served as a deputy sheriff mounted police officer and hosted a local radio show that discussed health and wellness.
Jenna H. Sellers, AuD focuses on cochlear implant rehabilitation, evoked potentials, and pediatric evaluation and rehabilitation. She has unique research experience in several areas including the use of cochlear implants together with hearing aids and hearing loss in the percussionist population. She earned her doctorate degree in audiology from the University of Louisville and her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. She was a clinical fellow for one year at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona before joining Idaho Elks Hearing and Balance Center.
Klaas H. Vanden Beld, NP is a board certified family nurse practitioner specializing in wound care. Klaas is a certified wound care specialist (CWS), caring for all wound types.
Klaas earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Athabasca University in Canada. He has nursing and wound care experience in both Canada and the United States.
Maggie Vuturo, MD, is a urologist who is board certified in both urology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (commonly referred to as urogynecology). She specializes in all aspects of adult female and male incontinence, overactive bladder, stress urinary incontinence, advanced pelvic organ prolapse, neurogenic bladder, vesicovaginal fistula repair, sacral nerve stimulation (Interstim), Da Vinci® robotic sacrocolpopexy, intravesical BOTOX®, neurourology, and complex urodynamics. She has a special interest in treating advanced pelvic organ prolapse and caring for adults with voiding dysfunction that is due to neurogenic conditions such as spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and multiple sclerosis (MS). She also treats general urologic conditions such as kidney stones.
Dr. Vuturo earned her medical degree and completed her urology residency at the University of Arizona, and completed her fellowship in female urology and male voiding dysfunction at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. She takes pride in getting to know and forming relationships with her patients to help improve their quality of life.
Dr. Vuturo performs surgery in St. Luke's Boise, Meridian, and Wood River hospitals.
