COVID-19 Response: How You Can Help

Heroes Work Here

Thank You for Your Support

We're grateful for the many offers of support we've received from the community. If you'd like to contribute to the COVID-19 response, there are many ways to get involved. From wearing a face covering and donating needed equipment and supplies to making a charitable financial donation, your actions and generosity will help. Thank you!

Simple Steps to Support Community Health

You can take simple steps to help keep our economy open, support schools, and protect the ability of local health care providers to care for those who need it most. Please wear a face covering in public, practice physical distancing, and wash your hands often.

You will make a difference
and earn our heartfelt gratitude.

Charitable Financial Donations

Charitable donations to the St. Luke’s COVID-19 Response Fund support caregivers working on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. They also help us obtain resources critical to patient care during this unprecedented outbreak.

While our current fundraising efforts focus on COVID-19 measures, we are mindful that care for patients with chronic illnesses or injuries does not stop during a pandemic. In unprecedented times like these we are also grateful for your consideration of other critical areas of need.

Every gift makes a difference, no matter the size. We thank you in advance for your generosity!

Food Donations for St. Luke's Staff

St. Luke’s is grateful to the community for the many generous donations of food we’ve received for our front-line caregivers. As we move forward through the COVID-19 crisis, we appreciate your cooperation in following our new food donation process, which we’ve established to ensure the safety of food donations, minimize waste and protect the health of our staff. Effective immediately, we will require all food donations to be planned in advance in partnership with our Food and Nutrition Services department. Please use our new intake form to share your interest in making a food donation. One of our team members will follow up with you promptly.

Please note: while we welcome anyone to use the form to arrange for a food donation, we will only be able to accept food directly from a licensed food establishment. Any food donations delivered to St. Luke’s that have not been planned in advance will be redirected to local nonprofit partner organizations supporting vulnerable populations. We appreciate your understanding and support of this important process change.

Volunteer Your Time and Talent

During this extremely challenging time, St. Luke’s is grateful to community members willing to offer their time and talent to support the COVID-19 response.

Today, many local health care organizations are in need of assistance. If you're interested in volunteering, please register through the Medical Reserve Corps. As St. Luke's identifies resource needs, we connect to the Medical Reserve Corps through our public health districts. They call for volunteers who meet our current requirements (skillset, training, etc.) and try to fulfill as many of our personnel needs as they can. If needs are not met, they will escalate to the Idaho Office of Emergency Management who will work to find other resources, which may include seeking National Guard or federal agency assistance.

Thank you for your compassion and commitment to the health of our community.
